PTT

I going to write this in English because I think it will make more sense, but I hope every one will understand any way because its very basic English.

This is about teaching skills an a positive experience. My job is to get more people to like snowboarding and make sure they have a good time on there board.
The PTT stands for Positive To Try. This means by always giving positive feedback my students will have a good time snowboarding. So from every run they do we pick something they did right. And for the improvement on the board, we use the words: next time try this.
Also by asking the question: how did that feel, you get the student to think of what they done, and they pick something you can give feedback on.
So by using the words, we…, next time…, let´s try…, who all is positive focusing, instead of the words, but…, you should…, I want…, don´t…, who all are negative focus, the student will experience snowboarding as something positive.
This might sounds easy, sometimes it´s not, but I find it a very good way to teach by.

Take Care Molly
